Jigawa State Governor Approves Appointment of Senior Special Advisers and Special Advisers

Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has recently announced the appointment of two Senior Special Advisers and 33 Special Advisers. This news was disclosed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, in a statement released on Tuesday.

Earlier, it was reported that the state Assembly had approved the governor’s request to appoint a total of 75 special advisers. The two individuals selected as Senior Special Advisers are Ibrahim Suleiman Gwiwa, who will serve as the Senior Special Adviser for Assembly Matters, and Yalwa Da’u, who will be the Senior Special Adviser for Gender Affairs.

The statement further revealed the names of the 32 newly appointed Special Advisers, including Aliyu Hussaini Usman as the Special Adviser for Inter-governmental/ Partnership, Ibrahim Adamu Maigatari as the Special Adviser for Boarder Town Affairs, and Bako Muhammad Amaryawa as the Special Adviser for Farmers/Herdsmen.

Other Special Advisers include Muktar Khalil (Special Adviser for Investment), Murtala Habu Chari (Special Adviser for Youth Mobilization – Gumel Zone), Abdulrahman Alkassim (Special Adviser for Local Government Affairs I), Mujitapah Saleh Kwalam (Special Adviser for Tsangaya I), Lawna Muhammad Garba (Special Adviser for Inter-Party Affairs), Isah Idris Gwaram (Special Adviser for Hajj Affairs), and Muhammad Agufa Abubakar (Maiyadi), who will be the Special Adviser for Public Mobilization – Dutse Zone.

Furthermore, the appointments include Adamu Abdullahi Zabaro (Special Adviser for Livestock), Abdulwahab T. Suleiman (Special Adviser for SEMA), Usman Bulama (Special Adviser for Solar Power Project), Isyaku Adamu (Special Adviser for Artisan), Hudu Babangida Dambazau (Special Adviser for Chieftaincy Affairs – Dutse Zone), Hamza Muhammad Hadejia (Special Adviser for Community Affairs and Inclusion), Usman Baba Yakubu (Special Adviser for Industrial Cluster), Adamu Gire (Special Adviser for STOWA), and Haruna Ahmad Al-Amin (Special Adviser for Export Processing Zone).

Additionally, Dr. Atiku Hafizu has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Public Health, Umar Imam Jahun as the Special Adviser for NGOs, Muhammad Idris Danzomo as the Special Adviser for Cluster Farming, Haladu Usman (Killer) as the Special Adviser for Project Monitoring, Lawna bn Idris as the Special Adviser for Nomadic Education, and Musa Sule Dutse as the Special Adviser for DCDA.

Other appointments include Abdullahi Mai’nasara Kazaure (Special Adviser for Microfinance Banks), Habib Aminu Kani (Special Adviser for Technology/Innovation), Saleh Ahmad Birniwa (Special Adviser for Youth Mobilization – Hadejia Zone), Abdullahi Bulama Zugo (Special Adviser for Political Mobilization – Hadejia Zone), Suleiman Musa Kadira (Special Adviser for Budget and Economic Planning), Sama’ila Dawaki (Special Adviser for Chieftaincy Affairs – Hadejia Zone), Muhammad Sabo Yankoli (Special Adviser for Tsangaya II), and Khalid S. Ibrahim (Special Adviser for Support Groups).

The Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, emphasized that the selection of these appointees was based on their merit, competence, and personal integrity.

This significant move by Governor Malam Umar Namadi aims to strengthen the administration and provide expert advice and guidance across various sectors for the betterment of Jigawa State.
