An emotional video has surfaced online where famous gospel singer Tope Alabi was messed up with an outpour of love from her fans at a recent event she attended.
In the video, she shared via her official Instagram page today, December 2nd, 2023, 53-year-old Tope Alabi was seen shedding tears of joy as the audience members serenade her with some of her songs.
The gospel singer who sat at the front beside her husband of 23-years Olusoji Alabi was invited to an event by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Aloba that took place yesterday, December 1sr 2023 at Maryland in Lagos.
Before she was invited on stage at the event tagged “In his presence”, they started singing her songs, at this moment Tope Alabi was seen beaming with smiles on her face.
Swiftly, Tope Alabi was seen in tears as the audience members stood up and started singing word for word to his rendition.
Tope is an established name in the Nigerian music industry with more than a dozen albums. She breaks into prominence in the year 2021 with her hit song “Ore ti o common.”
She has composed an extensive collection of soundtracks for numerous Nollywood film productions, with her credited as the composer for a remarkable total of over 350 soundtracks.
Sharing the video, Tope Alabi wrote; “This really messed me up????. It was an emotional moment for me at the just concluded IN HIS PRESENCE programme organized by @bidemiolaoba. This is nothing short of God’s grace, and I do not take it for granted. Thank you, Jesus!!!”

For me I have an ADVICE.Sis Tope,MUSIC is Devils office till tomorrow so Don’t let innocent pleasantries from people to Distract you.REMEMBER the Devil can Fight Anybody who is not worshiping him in songs and deeds.
I know a successful gospel singer, Tope Alabi well. I love watching her gospel voices every Sunday morning at TV. I love her sound voices. Her good voice of gospel songs make me difficult to be detract from watching her. Keep it up. God really bless you, tope Alabi.
