The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has sent a warning to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.
According to him, his annointed candidate will disappoint him.
Primate Ayodele revealed that Obaseki’s present anointed candidate will disappoint him and will lead the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to fail in the election.
In a statement by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said fighting with other politicians to give his anointed candidate the ticket will only lead to failure.
‘’Obaseki’s anointed candidate will disappoint him. Fights cannot make PDP win the election, and Obaseki’s tussle will make the party fail.’’
The man of God claimed the governor’s candidate would be knocked out of the way, but he wouldn’t see it now.
He urged the governor to restrategize and consult widely before finally settling for a candidate.
‘’He should consult properly before he concludes on the choice of an anointed candidate for the election. Obaseki needs to re-package and re-strategize his political techniques. His anointed candidate will find it difficult to win the election but he doesn’t see it now. His candidate may be knocked out of the way.’’
Primate Ayodele disclosed that mighty hands are coming to hijack Edo State from the PDP and if loopholes are allowed, the PDP will lose out.
‘’Mighty hands are coming to hijack Edo from PDP and if Obaseki allows loopholes by forcing a candidate on the party, PDP will lose out,’’ he added.

I see no reason why all the governors want to have an annioted son to succeed them.governor Obaseki you have been told,if you like listen to the voice of God.
I think his deputy has come out openly to say he is interested in running for the Governor ship election,I think he was the one who pick this man as his deputy,sir with all due respect support him.

I wish the church will mind what they are really called to do, and stop medelling in politics. Christ doesn’t take sides, He only state the truth.
